Just got back from that new car wash downtown and they did a great job on the old Chevy. Soft brushes and gentle soap, no scratches or marks anywhere. The attendant even noticed the classic plates and gave it some extra TLC. Water spots were completely gone after they dried it off with those microfiber towels. Definitely going back, especially since they have a discount for seniors on Tuesdays.
